Although  Alicante airport isn't my favourite airport it is a god send when I see the costa and Starbucks signs.  It's very sad but it's what get me excited to go to the airport.  Picking up a Starbucks in the departure lounge and returning to a nice costa. Two things which I don't get to have on a regular basis and something I miss. So a trip to Starbucks is a much have when flying and that's kinda where my holiday begins.                          

Over the next 24 hours I will have been on two car journeys, 3 plane rides, in 3 different countries, a boat and two different climates. Considering the fact that the weather is always unpredictable and that I am travelling for a long period of time. I wanted my outfit to be comfy, light and practical while at the same time not looking to scruffy.  After a lot of debating and changing, like most girls. I settled for some black hareem / pyjama style trouser from Oysho, along with my grey plain t-shirt from Primark. As I tend to get cold on planes and in England, I decided on my yellow knitted cardigan from Next as it is incredibly soft. 

Over the last few weeks / months I have been gathering bits and pieces, ready for the Spanish summer as well as my holiday, here are a few of my favourite purchases. As you may know, I am off to the Maldives, in a short period of time, which I am overly excited for. Packing the essentials is underway and like the majority of girls, make-up will come under the sub heading - Must Takes. I am not planning on wearing much make-up when I am away, a felt a small island and not many people, I would give my skin a break for a few weeks, possibly, although during the day I am likely to stick to the basic mascara and possibility of lip gloss, in the evenings however, for meals I know I will want to wear a bit more. Attempting to take very minimal make-up I have narrowed my options down to this, and who know's I probably won't even take all this but this is the contents of my holiday make-up bag

Last year, when  I went to Florida, I wrote about, what I was taking in my hand luggage , so as I am going away again soon, I thought I would post an updated version, which could also be viewed as an alternate what's in my hand luggage as this time we are travelling in business class rather than economy.
