Sand Castle Festival | Somerset 2013

Every summer, along the seafront, a sandcastle festival is held. It was never something which interested me to go and visit. I've been on holiday and you watch the sand sculptures work their skills as they create the craziest figures.  However going to this one was never really at the top of my to do list.

However with 'Brownies' a girl guiding group, I am a leader for, we decided to take the opportunity and have a little outing. I never realised that the these sand sculptors came from all over the world, to create these giant pieces of work. This year they were based on films, with the likes of Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.  The attention to detail was astonishing and it was really impressive. We even got a chance to create our own.

The fun fact which I remembered was that James Bond killed 352 people and slept with over 52 women.
