Smash Box Primer | Product Review
Smashbox is a brand in which I am starting to adore, their products are gorgeous, their packaging is attractive and in all the items I have used, have been well worth the money. It hasn't been until recently that I have started to apply a face primer before applying my make-up on a daily basis. I tend to stick with the moisturisers. However in the present time, a primer has become a daily essential and I have tried a couple, from brands such as Rimmel London and Soap and Glory.
This Primer has been my go to primer for a while, I find it works wonders, creates a smooth base for applying the essentials such as foundation and concealer. While noticeably has had an effect on the longevity and lasting of my 'face'. A small amount provides a large coverage and it is easy to apply.I find it is a light product, it's not to heavy which is an added bonus.
Appearance wise I find the product to be quite simplistic in design, which I think adds to its attractiveness while the clear colour of the product itself is beneficial as there is no tint or colour to it, which could effect the overall look of your day's makeup, like a tinted moisturiser could do. Another thing which appeals to me, is that for me personally it comes off as a higher end product however it is still available in high street stores, providing to a wider audience.
I would have to say my only downfall is that I believe it is quite an oily based product so after usage it leaves my hands feeling quite greasy however I do not seem to find this a problem for my face.
